Description

Barberry Purple Berberis thunbergii atropurpurea 30/50 cm Purple Berberis is a beautiful shrub with a compact form, and makes an excellent spiny hedge. The leaves are pale red when young, turning purple in summer. Clip in early summer, after flowering. Works well when mixed with Green Berberis. Plant at 3/4 per metre for a perfect hedge.
