This is a thorny, deciduous species, it grows to a height of 8m with a spread of 4.5m. The leaves are glossy green and will turn yellow in the autumn, the yellowish green flowers will appear in the spring and summer. They will grow in moderately fertile, well-drained soil with full sun or partial-shade in hot areas.
