Winged spindle tree.
This is an ornamental garden plant, it is grown mainly for its foliage which will turn a brilliant red in the autumn. It has a bushy spreading habit which form a clump much wider than it is tall. This shrub will not bloom, but the flowers are inconspicuous and are followed in the autumn by reddish-purple fruits. They prefer full sun and should grow well in any average garden soil.
