This species of tree will grow to about 9m tall. The leaves are coarsely toothed simple and about 10cm long with white felting on the undersides. They will develop orange and yellow autumn tones. The berries are red and about 12mm. They are easily grown in sun or partial-shade in any well-drained, fertile soil.
