Berries fruiting.

There are about 150 species of evergreen and deciduous, ornamental and fruiting shrubs. The berries are mostly edible and are either white, scarlet, purple, green or black. They have long stems, with green leaves. They produce a mass of yellow, red or pink blossoms appearing in late winter or early spring. The berries are frost hardy and will need full sun and fertile, well drained soil. They need full sun to semi-shade environments .
