There are many cherry trees varieties available .  Some are shrubby species but most are trees.  Many species are deciduous and will bloom in the spring.  They produce scented 5-petalled, pink or white flowers.  The cherry trees  leaves are green with serrated edges. You should plant in moist, well-drained soil in full sun.  Remember to protection from strong winds.
